Melanie has been writing since she was a teenager. She started writing as a way to purge her emotional feelings through poetry. Once she experienced the benefits to writing as a cathartic expression, she moved on to creative story telling. At first she only shared her stories with her younger sister and then to a few close friends who all enjoyed her story telling vibe. How’re, once she headed to college, graduated and met the love of her life, and started a family, she put her writing on the shelf. It was only after she created an after school program that she had a need to pick up her pen again and the test is history.
